Welcome to the Highlands School community. At Highlands, academics are celebrated, imagination is embraced, and leadership is fostered. This defines Highlands School’s philosophy of a Higher Degree of Learning. Our faculty and administration strive to promote in each child a positive self-image and respect for one another, as well as a lifelong love for learning in a challenging and caring environment where students have the opportunity to grow, succeed, and achieve every day.
 
While our curriculum provides a strong foundation in the traditional academic disciplines, our program focuses on the “whole child” where academic excellence, creative expression, and leadership development are each strengthened by physical, emotional, and social advancement opportunities.

To our students Highlands is more than a school.  It is a community where memories are made and shared for generations.
