Middle School

The Highlands Middle School experience focuses on leadership, decision-making, and community-building. In grades six through eight, students are presented with a variety of opportunities to think critically with project-based learning (PBL), collaboration, and challenging coursework. As an early-childhood through eighth-grade program, Highlands creates a supportive environment in which our Middle School students can take risks, challenge themselves beyond their comfort zones, discover intrinsic truths, and become strong self-advocates. By modeling a love of learning and encouraging perseverance and determination, Highlands produces graduates who are prepared and eager to take on new challenges and succeed in rapidly changing environments.
