*Affordable Tuition

Highlands students come from diverse socio-economic backgrounds. Our objective is to provide them with the best education possible at costs parents can manage. Eligible families pay between 40% and 100% of full tuition for students enrolled in grades 4K through 8 based on income and available resources.  Eligibility and annual tuition are determined through an application process administered by School and Student Services by NAIS.  The process is optional and families must apply to determine eligibility.

Mandatory Trip Fees

Students in 5th – 8th grade participate in a required, extended experiential learning activity annually as an overnight field trip. 5th Grade travels to a regional environmental center.  6th – 8th grade travel together out-of-state. In general, fees include transportation, lodging, and meals.
  • Fifth Grade (3 days, 2 nights) - $325.00
  • Middle School (5 days, 4 nights) - $1,750.00

Additional Fees

Additional fees include a variety of auxiliary (optional) programs offered through Highlands. Fees for these services may vary depending upon time, staffing, and resources necessary for the program. Families may be billed in advance or as the service is utilized. For information on transportation costs, Extended Day Program, afterschool activities, Happy Days at Highlands (holiday daycare), and the hot lunch program, please contact the office of Admissions.
