Admissions Events

Parent tours are an essential part of the admissions process. Guided by our Admissions team, you'll peek into the Student Life Center, observe live instruction, and picture your student learning in our beloved greenspaces.

Date: Saturday, October 5th at 9AM 

For families interested in applying to 4K or kindergarten, you are invited to attend a play date on campus. The Storytime and craft event features our Highlands librarian, Ms. Baker. The featured event will be followed by a visit to the classrooms where students will play and interact at learning centers and receive a snack. One of our 4K and K teachers will be present to observe, and you may ask questions.Participation in this event also serves as the group screening component of the application process and can hold a seat for your child in the 4K and kindergarten classrooms. After the event, if you wish to continue the process, your family is eligible for an individual Brigance screening to assess fine motor, gross motor, language development, literacy, math and science sense, and daily living skills.

Join us on Sunday, October 27th from 2PM - 3:30PM for our Highlands School Open House. This event is for parents of rising Kindergarten - 8th grade students. You'll tour the campus, hear from administrators, meet our teachers, and get a glimpse inside the classrooms. Registration is required.

Our Highlands School Preview Days are open to all current and prospective parents of rising 4K-8th grade students. They are held during the school day, so parents can have a glimpse into student life here at Highlands. You'll see your student's future classroom, hear from administrators, and observe classes.

This is a parent-only event with limited spots. Registration is required.

• Thursday, January 16th from 8:00AM - 9:30AM | for parents of rising 4K - 8th grade students
• Tuesday, March 4th from 8:05AM - 9:05AM |  for parents of rising 4K - 8th grade students

For families interested in applying to kindergarten - 5th grade, you are invited to attend a STEM Activity and playdate. The event will be held on campus and feature a Highlands School teacher.

Prospective 4K-8th grade students participate in an individual classroom visit (or "Shadow Visit"). This is an opportunity for your student to see the campus, interact with peers, and learn more about Highlands School.
