Hi, my name is Valerie McMillian. I am a native of Georgia, currently residing in the rural area of Alabama. I have a loving husband of 20-plus years, and I am a proud boy mom to a teenager who loves life and is full of energy and adventure. I'm a graduate of The University of Alabama, currently holding a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology with a minor in Education. My hobbies include but not limited to designing, shopping, traveling, trying new restaurants, and hanging out with friends and family. My desire to work with children stems from my passion for helping others. Our young people have the mind, ability, and drive to be and do whatever they set forth, and I want to help them achieve their goals. I'm excited to be joining the Highlands Family and look forward to a wonderful school year.
