Board of Trustees Update

John Michael Bodnar
On behalf of the Board of Trustee, we are honored and blessed to be have been able to serve the Highlands Day School Foundation and its vast and diverse population of stakeholders this 2017-2018 school year.  We are truly proud of our 8th grade graduating class and wish them the very best as they pivot into the next exciting phase of their young lives.  And, what a way to exit! – the Capstone projects.  Wow.

The trail out of this school year into next year will require hard work and dedication and patience – from all of us.  As we trek out of the woods of a capital campaign into the land of construction – we should set our sights on transforming our campus and progressing Highlands forward for future generations.  To do this, transform and progress, means we have to chop a lot of wood; so please help us and participate by donating, pledging, giving and believing.

Thank you, parents for your amazing gifts [kids] and believing in our Mission. Thank you, teachers for your countless hours of caring.  Thank you, Kavita and team for making it happen every day so that together we craft our children into young people who not only care about the world, but have the tools to better it.  Have a wonderful summer,
John Michael
