Highlands Blog

Joseph Katz

Joseph has been looking forward to being a Highlands Middle School student for a long time.  Over the summer, he was especially excited as he thought about all of the wonderful opportunities that are available to our Middle Schoolers.  Joseph really enjoys being part of our close knit Highlands community—and especially likes being with his classmates, who have become close friends.  The best thing about being a Middle Schooler, for Joseph, is the chance to be a leader and a role model to the younger students.  He can’t wait to explore a variety of electives, such as robotics and yearbook, and he can’t wait for the Middle School trip.  “I am very excited to be in the Middle School,” says Joseph, “and I can’t wait to learn more about what the Middle Schoolers get to do at Highlands!”
