SHA Off to a Great Start!

Sra. Bree Holland
The Capítulo Antoni Gaudí has held three meetings so far, and all seventeen of the members are very enthusiastic about the year! At our first meeting, the students nominated officers for President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer. There were various nominations for treasurer so the students voted, and the winner was announced at the next meeting. It was a close race!
Here are the new officers:
  • President- Whitney Byington
  • Vice-President- Sela Komisar
  • Secretary- Katherine Effinger
  • Treasurer- Joseph Katz
¡Felicitaciones! Congratulations!
After voting for officers, the members have been discussing service projects. Each year, the SHA’s goal is to complete at least three service activities—one for ambassadorship, one for service to school, and one for service to community. The students have come up with many good ideas, and this month, they are looking forward to helping out at the Fall Festival giving temporary sugar skull tattoos in honor of Día de los Muertos.
