Meet an 8th Grader - Reese

How long have you been at Highlands?

I have been at Highlands since Kindergarten — 9 years. Been here nine years(since Kindergarten)

Describe an experience at Highlands you won’t forget.

I will never forget getting cast as Charlie in the musical. It rocked my world.

What is your favorited Highlands tradition?

Does Fall Festival count as a tradition? That would definitely be my favorite. 

What profession do you want to pursue? 

Probably something in the theater or writing. I am not sure which as of right now. 

What has been your favorite subject during your time at Highlands? 

English. I enjoy studying Literature and Poetry.

What is your favorite extracurricular activity or event?

Drama and Music Appreciation because I love acting and music. It is extremely important.

What high school do you plan to attend? College?

I plan on going to Altamont for high school. I honestly haven't even thought about colleges yet. I have just been enjoying finding my own interests. 

What is one thing that is different about Highlands?

They tell you that is okay (good even) to be different.

What are your favorite things to do outside of school? 

In my free time, I really enjoy reading.
